THE BRIEF
Seven Dials Market asked us to bring Christmas spirit into their 24,000 sq ft food hall in the heart of Covent Garden, welcoming more than 2.4 million visitors throughout the year.
The brief was to create something festive, playful and interactive, bringing Christmas into the character of the market while giving visitors plenty of little moments to discover, enjoy and photograph.
CREATIVE PROCESS
In Cucumber Alley, the giant cucumber became a Christmas tree, wrapped in garland and lights and topped with a handmade glitter star. We carried the festive styling through the space with garland, ribbons and lights.
In the main hall, we dressed the 10ft tree with pink and cucumber-shaped baubles and created a life-size papier-mâché snowman
scene with christmas trees, a sledge and post box designed as a playful photo moment.
A giant banana was transformed into a Christmas sledge complete with a reindeer, wreath and oversized Santa sack.
