Immersive fringe installations designed to transform spaces through movement, texture and colour
The concept behind The Fringe Theory began with a challenge: we needed to bring a strong, immersive moment into a large, empty space.
Before fringe took its final shape, we tested different ideas, materials and ways of working. We were looking for something
light, flexible and impactful, a material that could fill space, move beautifully and still feel considered.
Fringe, also known as a streamer installation, became the answer. It could move with light and air, change the mood of a room, and create visual impact without heavy builds or unnecessary cost. From that first project, we realised fringe had its own language. It became a medium we kept returning to: reusable, adaptable and full of movement.
The Fringe Theory is our way of creating atmosphere through movement, colour, structure and scale. Each installation is designed around the space itself, changing how it looks, feels and is experienced.
We were among the first in the UK to explore this form of art, using fringe to create immersive environments rather than simple decoration.

Made from thousands of individually hand-cut strands, each installation is designed to move gently with airflow and light. Fringe brings softness, depth and energy into a space changing not only how it looks, but how it feels.

Decide how you would like to bring fringe into your space. Choose Dry Hire if you would like to install it yourself, or Full-Service Installation if you would prefer us to take care of everything.

Choose from a wide range of colours and styles. Our fringe comes in 2-metre to 10-metre lengths with bespoke options for
any space.

Secure your date with a 50% booking fee/deposit, which reserves your chosen fringe colours.

For Dry Hire, you install with our guidance.
For Full - Service installation, we handle setup and removal so you can enjoy your event.
Collect from our SW London studio or arrange courier delivery
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, depending on setting and weather
Standard dry hire lasts 7 days from the first day of hire, unless otherwise arranged.
A 50% booking deposit secures your date, with the remaining balance due 10 weeks before your event
If you cancel your booking less than
12 weeks before the event, the deposit will become non-refundable.

Perfect for clients, planners, stylists and creatives who would like to install the fringe themselves.
We’ll prepare your fringe and provide setup guidance
Your fringe can be collected from our SW London studio on the agreed date, or courier delivery
can be arranged.
You can then install it in your space, enjoy the event, and return everything to us afterwards.
full-service installation
Perfect for larger spaces, brand activations, retail spaces, more detailed installs, or clients who would like the whole process handled from start to finish.
We’ll work with you and your venue to plan the installation, then arrive on site to install everything before the event and return afterwards for de-rig and removal.
For full-service installations, a venue visit may be required. Visits within the M25 are charged at a flat fee of £180. For venues outside London, costs may vary depending on location.
