THE BRIEF

Transform St Mary’s Church into a space filled with colour, creativity and possibility. At the heart of the concept was the diamond within, the idea that everyone has something valuable inside them: a talent, an idea or a passion waiting to be discovered, shaped and shared.

Our challenge was to turn that idea into something physical, a joyful, uplifting environment that made the message feel tangible.

CREATIVE PROCESS

I helped develop the visual concept and brought key elements of the event to life through prop design, making, styling and installation.

The diamond became the visual language for the space. I designed and hand-crafted oversized diamond props for the stage, turning

the central idea into a physical statement. The concept continued into a series of handmade installations. A wall of handmade paper rosettes celebrating inspiring women in business became a colourful backdrop and photo moment.

For another photo opportunity, I created a diamond backdrop layered with tinsel and 3D handmade diamonds, using piñata-style construction to add depth, texture and sparkle. For the stage, I helped style the set with floral screens and layered decorative elements, bringing softer, organic shapes into contrast with the bold geometric diamonds. I also transformed a vintage lectern with glitter, adding another hit of sparkle to the stage.

From the handmade props to the stage styling and installation, I helped bring the different elements together into

one cohesive visual world.
